Tonight is the St. Petersburg Opera Company, Inc. production of DON GIOVANNI at the Palladium Theater. We are in the second row and I’m looking forward to this production!

The only sounds I hear are the waves breaking on the fiberglass hull, and the wild spasms of the sunbrella bimini as the salty air blows through. A mother duck and her ducklings swim by, feeding off the surrounding pilings. I’m laying in the cockpit, my scuba tank erect near the transom, my bc in a duffel on the starboard settee. It’s cool out. The temperature must have dropped 10 degrees in the last hour. The sky is clear of all but the three-quarters moon.

I just found out that a good friend of mine from SCTI has passed away. Wally was an inspiration to everyone by achiving things that others like him only dreamed of. Wally lived a good, long life. Gary has been Wally’s partner for many years, and I would like to give my condolences to him. Gary, we all feel your loss.

I have no plans for summer semester, except to drink, play WoW, and go to shows. I guess I should get some sailing done, but we’ll see. I might force myself to take an online class over the C semester, but I’m not sure.

I just added 4 full-res photos of the Morgan Invasion 2008 race in Treasure Island, Florida we raced in last week. I will be adding more as they become available to me. Enjoy them!

This year I will be crewing with my dad on the Pirate’s Lair, his 38′ Morgan sailboat! Race starts at 9:30am and lasts all day until about 4:00pm! Sunday will be free if anyone wants to do something. That or I’ll finish (read: start) my english paper.

American Stage Theatre Company will produce Gilbert and Sullivan’s hit musical-comedy The Pirates of Penzance during the theatre’s 23rd annual production of American Stage in the Park, April 9 thru May 4. If you want to go, I have free access, so let me know. I’m available any day except Wednesdays.
